Sessions begin with an evaluation of your physical condition.  Depending on your needs and preferences, a combination of the following techniques can be employed:

  • deep

    Deep Tissue

    Slow, concentrated pressure over the deeper layers of muscles and fascia (connective tissues surrounding the muscles). Especially helpful for chronic aches and pains, and the release of stiff areas.

  • swedish

    Swedish

    This traditional European massage calms the nervous system, reduces stress, and improves circulation, leaving you feeling peaceful and revitalized.

  • Shiatsu

    Shiatsu

    A traditional Japanese style of massage using gentle acupressure and stretching.  An interactive and empowering experience for your body, mind, and spirit.

    Craniosacral Therapy

    Light contact at select points around the head, torso, knees and feet. The goal is to improve the functioning of the central nervous system.

    Pre/Post-Natal

    Ease tension and restore your true nature. A nurturing massage specifically designed to provide a comforting and supportive environment for new and expecting moms.

    Reflexology

    Application of pressure to specific points and areas on the feet, hands, or ears to induce a reflex response in other parts of the body such as glands and organs.

    Hot Stone

    Gently heated basalt and cooled marble stones deeply penetrate muscles, increase circulation.  A great way to relax into the final stage of a treatment.

    A key factor in your recovery is the work you do between therapy sessions.  Together, we will develop a plan for simple movements you can do on your own to work on your natural muscle balance, flexibility, and bone realignment.
